 Humanity owed its greatest civilization to the age of Ancient Babylon which represents the cradle of religion, politics and culture. Choosing such a project to revive this legend is the first step on the way back to Heritage, trying to reveal some secrets of this immortality.

The Definition:

 It is a cultural project that narrates the history of Babylonian civilization. The three well-known eras of Ancient Babylon would be elaborated physically and consequently in a full life-circle journey. Events within time are manifested in a spatial manner accordingly. Different parts, focal points and spaces of the project are related together visually in an amazing order that correspondent to the every-day rituals of people.

The Goals:

Preservation by reviving old spirit of these ages is the main goal. Instead of freezing and museum zing archaeological remains, the project targets to promote global vision about Ancient Babylon to their maximum extends beyond the limits of "time-space". This global sustained spirit needs to be prevailed again.

1-   Layer 1 (Basement) at level -4.00 m : 

         Basement represents the 1st Babylonian Era and the main entrance of gallery. It includes panoramic display zone that shows the Babylonian life in 1st era and Mural display in added to the statues of Babylon kings. Basement also includes rest zones, offices and stores.  

2-   Layer 2 (Ground floor) at level 0.00m:

        Ground floor represents the 2nd Babylonian Era. It includes panoramic display zone that shows the Babylonian life in 2nd era and rest zones.

3-   Layer 3 (First floor) at level +4.00m:

       First floor represents the 3rd Babylonian Era. It includes panoramic display zone that shows the Babylonian life in 3rd era and rest zones.

4-   Al-Mastabah at level +8.00m:

       The project finish with an outdoor platform (The Mastaba) at the roof of three floor layers for the three eras of Ancient Babylon).The site is facing directly the existing ruins of Ancient Babylon so that visitors can see the remnant of Ancient Babylon city in this time .

Architecturally:

        The project consists of three layers that have inspired their design from the layer of Babylon Zagurat. Every layer represents era from eras of Babylon:

    Movement:

Visitors can move among these parts respectively using stairs and ramps across a series of galleries in different walking levels. Visitors can enjoy their journey within the real past life.

** Panoramic display by using Laser technique, this technique make the visitors living the atmosphere Ancient Babylonian life.
